Absecon police looking for fast food wallet thief

The Absecon Police Department is looking for the man who helped himself to a wallet inadvertently left on the counter by a woman visiting a popular area fast food restaurant./Absecon Police Department The Absecon Police Department is looking for the man who helped himself to a wallet inadvertently left on the counter by a woman visiting a popular area fast food restaurant./Absecon Police Department ABSECON  The Absecon Police Department is looking for a man who helped himself to a wallet left on the counter June 26 by a customer of the McDonald's Restaurant on the corner of the White Horse Pike and Mill Road. 

According to a news release issued by Absecon police, a woman left her wallet on the counter and left the restaurant. She later returned to find the wallet gone. 

After reviewing surveillance video, police said a black male wearing a gray tank top and dark shorts approached the counter after getting his own order, took the wallet and left the store.

The wallet contained cash, credit cards and several forms of identification, according to police.
