Unemployment story is a big lie

The unemployment rate has fallen once again. For the fifth straight month the rate has fallen. You may recall before any of this started that I predicted right here that this is exactly what was going to happen.

The goal is to re-elect Obama. No honorable rules apply. The end simply justifies the means.

Some 1.2 million former American workers have apparently simply been politically vaporized. The anemic job growth we have seen should result in a rising unemployment rate. All things are possible when you fudge the numbers.

Two days before the latest phony numbers, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office released information that unemployment in America is presently 10 percent, and the underemployment rate is 16.8 percent.

Because this office goes out of its way to be perceived as fair, it under-reported the actual unemployment rate, which is more like 11 percent.

How does Obama get away with fooling you that the rate is 8.3 percent and that it has declined for 5 straight months for the first time since 1994? Simple: The pro-Obama national media refuses to challenge this scam.

Screaming top-of-the-fold banner headlines across America rang out the day after the unemployment miracle. Financial markets also roared.

We cannot stand for such lies to be told and then parroted by the national media purely for the benefit of the Democratic Party.

The national media that now cheers for Obama and 8.3 percent unemployment regularly savaged President George W. Bush, calling a 6 percent unemployment rate "alarming and deeply disturbing."

The next nine months are going to feature a most outrageous rewriting of the Obama administration. You will be asked to celebrate that the price of a gallon of gasoline is now $3.36 and climbing, despite the fact that it was a $1.68 per gallon before Obama took office.

In order to re-elect Obama the media will lie on a daily basis. Look at how the pro-Obama media raced to make market saturation level headline news over their claim that former Gov. Mitt Romney "doesn't care about the poor."

That's not what Romney said and they know that. Yet they refuse to report the truth about what Obama says and does. They help him, while hurting any perceived opponent.

In order for the Republican nominee to win the presidency, he will have to beat Obama and the national media.

This will be the most challenging nine months of our lifetime. Because Obama has absolutely no record to run on, you can be sure that this will be one of the dirtiest national campaigns ever.

The Obama campaign will spend at least three quarters of a billion dollars, not to mention the untold billions in actual value that the pro-Obama media will spend on his behalf and the various liberal political action committees that will pile on for Obama.

Obama cannot win on the basis of his abysmal record. Therefore, this will be a scorched-earth campaign like never before.

I am often asked what the ordinary citizen can do when a multibillion dollar industry like the national media favors one side in such a biased manner. The answer is for you to remain intellectually honest. Don't back down when you know that you're right.

Despite the significant advantage that the national Democratic candidate has, never sell short the power of the American people to sort through lies and distortions.

The power of the Internet and talk radio have served as a productive balancing agent.

Also, be encouraged that despite what the national media continues to feed you on a daily basis, the Gallup state-by-state polls presently demonstrate that if the election were held today, Obama would lose 323-215 in the Electoral College.

In other words, when the American people are heard from unfiltered by the national media, they would fire Obama in a landslide defeat. But they're not going to tell you this. Instead they will pick and choose the results that suit their agenda.

If a national poll of all voters shows that it is nearly 50 percent to 50 percent, they will let you know about it. However, the national poll is irrelevant. This is a state-by-state proposition.

At this time, about 12 competitive states remain. Most of them are presently prepared to reject Obama. But nine months is a lifetime in electoral politics.

A full 70 percent of the American people presently believe that the country is headed in the wrong direction. This statistic alone proves that the American people can process truth from propaganda. The key to victory is to remain vigilant.
