Mainland, Atlantic City girls host NJSIAA swimming quarterfinals today

The Mainland Regional High School girls swimming team will host Gloucester Tech 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 6) in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA Swimming Championships. Mainland is the top seed in the South, Group B bracket.
Third-seeded Ocean City will host No. 6 Oakcrest in another Group B quarterfinal matchup.
In Group A, second-seeded Atlantic City will host No. 7 Southern today, and No. 5 Egg Harbor Township will travel to Clearview.
On the boys side, EHT is the No. 4 seed in South, Group A, and will host Washington Township on Friday, Feb. 8. Sixth-seeded Atlantic City will host Vineland Friday in an interesting matchup of Cape-Atlantic League American Conference squads.
Holy Spirit is the No. 4 seed in South Non-Public B and will host Bishop Eustace on Monday, Feb. 11. St. Augustine Prep is the second seed in Non-Public A and gets a bye into the semifinal round.
