mainfhcamp Mainland field hockey The Mainland Regional High School Field Hockey Camp for players entering grades 2-9 will be held July 21-24, 9 a.m. to noon each day, at Mainland’s field in Linwood. MRHS head coach Jill Hatz and William Paterson University head coach Lindsay Bard will conduct the camp, which allows youth field hockey players to learn and improve basic individual skills and game knowledge to prepare them for the next level of play. Spartan Baseball Camp
The Spartan Baseball Camp at Holy Spirit High School will run Monday to Thursday, July 21-24, from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Conducted by Holy Spirit head coach Steve Normane and his staff, the camp is open to all players ages 8-14. Players should bring all necessary equipment including bats, glove, cleats, etc. Helmets and water will be provided, but players are encouraged to bring their own. Cost for camp is $120 per player if registered before Friday, July 18, $140 per player if registered on opening day of camp.  Discounts are available for families sending more than one player. The 12U Atlantic County Outlaws baseball team is seeking players for the 2014 fall season. The Outlaws play in the Tri-State Elite Baseball League. Lady Eagles Girls Basketball Camp
The Egg Harbor Township Lady Eagles Girls Basketball Camp for girls entering grades 3-8 will be held July 28-31, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day, at Fernwood Middle School. The camp will be led by the EHT High School basketball team and coaches and will focus on the fundamentals of basketball such as ball handling, dribbling, passing, proper shooting form and defense. The camp aims to teach youth the skills necessary to play at the high school level while making it fun for all of the girls. The cost is $100 per player. EHT Fall Softball
Egg Harbor Township Youth Softball is accepting registrations for Fall Ball on the following dates: July 16, 6-8 p.m.; July 19, 10 a.m.-noon; and July 26, 10 a.m.-noon.  The program is open to players age 7-16 as of Dec. 31, 2013. Carbonara Pro Soccer Camp

US Sports Institute coming to EHT
The EHT Recreation Department is hosting the US Sports Institute to a series of Multi Sport Camps for participants ages 5 to 12 and also Sports Squirts Program for younger participants ages 3 to 5 during the month of August. 76ers Summer Hoops Tour
The Philadelphia 76ers Summer Hoops Tour will be coming to Egg Harbor Township on Friday, July 25th. It will be held at the EHT Community Center at 2:00 PM and usually runs for two hours and is led by former 76er World B. Free. This fun event is free and open to all. Mainland Softball Camp
Mainland Regional High School Softball Camp will take place at the varsity softball field (adjacent to Rt. 9) from Monday, Aug. 4, through Thursday, Aug. 7, 9 a.m. to noon each day. The camp is for girls ages 8-14. The cost is $110 before July 28 and $125 afterwards. The camp will include: instruction, stations and drills for every player, including pitchers. The Muckdogs Baseball Club, based out of Atlantic County, will be holding tryouts for ages 8-14 in July. The Muckdogs 12U team goes to Cooperstown, and all other teams enter tournaments in Diamond Nation, Ripken, Rehoboth, and other towns throughout the tri-state area. Black Bear Lacrosse camps
Black Bear Lacrosse is offering camps this summer in Avalon, Ocean City and Stone Harbor. Black Bear has outstanding coaches and current and former college players who take a personal interest in teaching the fastest game on two feet. Black Bear emphasizes sound fundamentals and advanced technique in a fast-paced, fun-filled camp setting. The Ocean City camp for boys only is July 28-Aug. 1. Eagle Basketball Camp
The Egg Harbor Township High School boys basketball program will hold its 19th annual Eagle Basketball Camp Aug. 4-7 at the high school, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The camp is for boys entering the second through 10th grades. EHT boys coach George McNally is the camp director. All of the current EHT players, many former players and coaches from several area high schools are involved in the instruction and coaching at the camp. Stockton Men's Basketball is hosting individual or small group basketball training for serious players 13 years of age or older. Atlantic Elite Baseball
Atlantic Elite Academy has limited roster spots available for serious, competitive players (three players - 12u, three players - 13u, and two players- 14u). AEA provides year-round training and our own indoor hitting facility in Egg Harbor Township. All coaches have college level experience.
