Wildwood High School graduate Loretta Kelly made a buzzer-beating shot in the lane to lift the Rutgers-Camden University women’s basketball team to a 72-71 victory over John Jay College earlier this week.

Kelly drove the ball down the right side of the court before cutting into the lane and flipping up a shot just before the buzzer sounded to give the Scarlet Raptors (7-10) the victory in the game played in New York City.

Kelly scored six points and contributed three assists and three steals in 31 minutes in the win. For the season, the 2010 Wildwood graduate is averaging 4.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
