There has been a time change for the Ocean City High School girls basketball game at the Tournament of Champions Tuesday night.

The state Group III champion Raiders will now take on Red Bank Catholic at 8 p.m. at Pine Belt Arena in Toms River in the TOC first round, according to multiple reports.

The game was originally announced as a 6 p.m. start when TOC seedings were released Sunday evening.

Ocean City is the No. 6 seed for the tournament, which includes the state champions from all six enrollment groups. Red Bank Catholic, the Non-Public A champion, is the No. 3 seed. The winner of Tuesday’s OC-RBC game will take on No. 2 seed Rancocas Valley, the Group IV champion, on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Pine Belt Arena.

Tuesday’s other semifinal features No. 4 Trenton Catholic Academy, the Non-Public B champ, against No. 5 Pt. Pleasant Beach, the Group I champion. That game is now scheduled for 6 p.m. The TCA-PPB winner will play top-seeded Malcolm X. Shabazz, the Group II champion, on Thursday at 8 p.m. at Pine Belt Arena.

The Tournament of Champions final is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at Sun National Bank Center in Trenton.

Ocean City won the first state championship in program history Sunday afternoon, topping Jefferson, 50-37.
