The results of the mini-poll and the winners of the prize packages will be announced May 24. Sponsors will be donating merchandise, gift certificates and coupons for restaurants, hotel or bed and breakfast establishments, and amusement pier, theme park, festival, aquarium and winery tour passes, among other items. “The New Jersey Top Ten Beach Survey has really become a popular seasonal competition,” said Kim Kosko, director of communications for the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium, who, along with Stewart Farrell, professor of marine science at Richard Stockton College and director of its Coastal Research Center, created the survey five years ago to promote stewardship and pride in New Jersey's beaches.
