Ace’s Helpful Hands campaign is a nationwide program awarding paint donations to one deserving high school in each of the 50 states. Schools were chosen through a call for nominations and the winning schools each received $2,000 worth of paint and supplies.

“This paint donation to Atlantic County Institute of Technology will provide more than just a new splash of color for the school; it will mark a new beginning,” said Lou Manfredini, Ace’s home expert. “Through Helpful Hands, Ace is encouraging the community to do its part in improving our nation’s high schools by creating a learning environment that stimulates education, creativity and pride.”

Atlantic County Institute of Technology in Mays Landing is a public high school dedicated to providing each student the opportunity to reach his or her potential as a productive and successful member of the community. Students are offered an innovative curriculum combining academic instruction, career technical education, internships and structured work experiences to bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace skills.

Ace Paint, one of the top paint manufacturers in the United States and a division of Ace Hardware Corporation, will supply the paint for each project, along with product donations from Egg Harbor Township Ace Hardware.
