The House of Representatives passed H.R. 152 by a 241-180 vote Tuesday evening, Jan. 15, providing $50 billion in relief for victims of Hurricane Sandy after extensive debate about the size of the bill and how to pay for it. Frank LoBiondo urges his congressional colleagues to support the victims of Hurricane Sandy, just as they would expect support from their fellow Americans the next time disaster strikes their communities. The Disaster Relief Appropriations Act is expected to be taken up by the Senate next week.
