Robin Stoloff and Michelle Dawn Mooney will lead teams to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters
Robin Stoloff and Michelle Dawn Mooney of NBC 40 will lead opposing teams in a free Tilton Fitness shape-up series Jan. 18-Feb. 15 to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties.
Stoloff, who is the sales manager and health reporter, and Mooney, a news anchor, will lead their teams through the paces as they work out under the direction of Tilton’s professional instructors.
The five-week series, titled New Year New You, runs 11 a.m.-noon Saturdays through Feb. 15 and is split between the Galloway and Northfield locations.
The Jan. 18 kickoff will feature Zumba with Vanessa in Galloway. That will be followed by BodyCombat with Ruthie Jan. 25 in Northfield, yoga with Brie Feb. 1 in Northfield, and mash-up with Ann Feb. 8 in Galloway. It will conclude with a Zumba vs. Hip-hop Battle with Gavin and Marzena Feb. 15 in Northfield.
Admission is free, and no gym membership is required. Donations are requested for Big Brothers Big Sisters, an organization dedicated to bringing caring role models into the lives of children.
Founded in 1965 to help fatherless boys, the local organization expanded to include girls in the 1970s, and in 1982 it was granted full membership status with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
