HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Beginning Tuesday, March 18, a detour will be in place for eastbound traffic only on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road at Sugar Hill Bridge in Mays Landing, according to a news release from Atlantic County.
The detour will remain in place during the county’s extensive repair project on the 73-year-old bridge’s deck and sidewalk. Construction is anticipated to last approximately 2½ months.
Eastbound motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly. Westbound travel will not be affected.
