The New Jersey State Employment and Training Commission Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board  has recertified Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board  through 2016./Submitted The New Jersey State Employment and Training Commission Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board has recertified Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board through 2016./Submitted MAYS LANDING _ The New Jersey State Employment and Training Commission has recertified the Atlantic-Cape May Workforce Investment Board through 2016.

The Atlantic-Cape May WIB plays an integral role in strengthening New Jersey’s workforce system. The WIB partners with local businesses, community and faith-based organizations, education institutions and government agencies to provide employment, training and social services to support the area’s workforce and prepare people to address today’s evolving economy.

The Atlantic-Cape May WIB was recently honored with a Recognition of Excellence Award from the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration for innovation in the operation of at-risk youth programs.

Additionally, the WIB earned a Corporate Partner Award from the Garden State Employment and Training Association and a Workforce Partnership Award from the National Association of Workforce Boards for its leadership, innovative approaches and financial support of workforce development programs.
