BACK TO SCHOOL HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – The Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District has been designated as a high-performing district from the State of New Jersey Department of Education.

“We hit our state standards,” new GEHR Superintendent John Keenan said Monday, July 14. “All good things are happening. We are a high-performance district.”

Of the five performance review areas, the district scored 100 percent in three categories and no less than 87 percent in all others of the Quality Single Accountability Continuum (QSAC).

The performance areas span everything from student achievement and budgetary compliance to personnel policies and ethics procedures.

On July 9 the district was informed that the State Board of Education certified the district for a period of three years as providing a thorough and efficient education. Each district is required to undergo a full QSAC review every three years.
