County Chamber of Commerce awards $4,000 in scholarships

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Seven students in Cape May County who plan to attend college this fall have been selected to receive $500 scholarships, one student will receive $1000, the county Chamber of Commerce has announced.

This year’s scholarship recipients receiving $500 are: Keri Paige Broadley, Ocean City High School; Nicole Kelly and Adam Vaul, Middle Township High School; Aleksander Soriano, Lower Cape May Regional High School; and Sarah McBride and Mackenzie Scully, Wildwood Catholic High School.

Dorothy Stump, Middle Township High School, will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

To earn a scholarship, the county Chamber of Commerce requires that applicants be a son, daughter or employee of a business that is a member of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce; be a county resident; hold a 2.0 GPA or higher; have a 95 percent attendance rate; and no disciplinary infractions.
