HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – The Jersey Shore Children’s Museum has announced the following March events:

Spend the Day with Fancy Renee Tuesday, March 4. Story time begins at 1 p.m. and the first 10 children to bring their favorite storybook will receive a free 5x7 photo and become part of a community project, “A Good Book Comes to Life” created by Renee Lynn Photography. Regular admission to museum is required. 

The Jersey Shore Children’s Museum will host a penny auction and day of entertainment Saturday, March 8, at Cologne Fire Hall, Mays Landing.  Doors open at noon and auction items will be announced starting at 2.  Admission is $10 adults and $5 children under 14. Admission includes entertainment featuring magician Joe Holiday and face painting by Heather Hires and a ticket for door prize. All proceeds benefit the Save the Children’s Museum Campaign Fund.

Auditions for the second annual South Jersey Junior Idol Competition will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. every Tuesday throughout March at the museum. Auditions open to children in grades K thru eight. Auditions are free, if selected there is a registration fee; call 609-641-5726. 

The museum is offering a Four Leaf Clover Special with $4 admission after 4 p.m. throughout March, no coupon needed. 

Jersey Shore Children’s Museum is in the Hamilton Mall, upper level near Sears. Admission is $8 per person. Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
