CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Recently,  Bob Maschio, president of Coastal Broadcasting System Inc., WCZT – 98.7 The Coast, was recognized as Cape May County Technical School District’s Business Partner for 2012.  He is an active member of the Entertainment Production Technology advisory board providing  professional insight toward industry trends and shifts in technological practices.

Local towns awarded $50,250 for safety efforts

Towns that are members of the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (ACM JIF) received awards totaling $50,250 for their safety efforts. All 42 member municipalities qualified for the awards at the 24th annual Safety Kickoff Breakfast by virtue of the successful completion of the safety program criteria.

Lori Harron is Sturdy Savings Bank’s employee of the quarter, the bank announced recently. Harron has more than 25 years’ experience in the banking industry and joined Sturdy in 2010. She serves as an anti money laundering assistant.

OCEAN CITY — Prudential, Fox and Roach’s Nick Marotta, an Ocean City-Battersea sales associate, and Marge Swanson, an Ocean City office mortgage consultant, were both recently named New Jersey Five Star Professional award winners.

The award winners appeared in a special section in the March issue of New Jersey Monthly.

Horner named director of patient access at Cape Regional

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Heidi A. Horner has been appointed director of patient access at Cape Regional Medical Center.

Horner’s experience in healthcare spans more than 20 years; serving in the roles of social work/case management, marketing and sales, and management in acute care, long term/sub-acute care, and outpatient radiology. Most recently, she served as manager of the patient access liaison program at South Jersey Healthcare.  She earned her bachelor of arts in sociology from Arcadia University and her masters of science in management in healthcare administration from New England College.
