America rejected the uncaring Republican Party

To the editor:

What a joy to read Harry Hurley's column. He guaranteed that our president would lose in a landslide. Wrong. Now he uses every excuse instead of what really happened.

The American people did not buy into a non-caring Republican Party, who absolutely had no feeling for what the common American is going through. It’s a party where the wealthy Americans tried to buy the election.

Just like Mitt Romney, probably the  most out-of-touch presidential candidate in history, he blames the people for voting for President Obama, because he will make their lives better. Romney calls this giving things to Americans.

It would be healthier if the Republican Party moves away from the fringe so we have a choice when we vote.

I think Hurley should support our president and hope he can solve our problems.
