Stockton could do more for graduates

To the editor:

I worked my butt off to earn my degree at RichardStocktonCollege, which does nothing for its graduates. My opinion to kids in high school is, stay away from Stockton and go to ITT Technical Institute, where they do for their graduates. From my experience, the president and board of trusties could care less for graduates; they are more interested in being big shots in real estate.

Stockton is more interested in trying to build itself some image than doing right by its graduates. There is no reason for a college to buy up a bunch of real estate at a cost to the public while ignoring the best interests of its graduates in this community. Think about this, too: ITT Technical Institute makes every effort to assist its students and gradates to become successful after graduation. A degree in behavior science from StocktonCollege is worth less then a piece of toilet paper. If it were only softer, you could do something useful with it.
