Letter to the editor: Summer, season of refulgence Letter to the editor: Summer, season of refulgence

Now the world is wrapped in sunshine,

And the sky is azure blue;

All the hills are draped in emerald,

And the flowers are pearled with dew;

All the trees are whispering softly,

“Look unto the heavens above.

See God’s smile in the brightness.

Feel the warmth of God’s own love.”

Summer, season of refulgence,

Foretaste of a world to come,

Stand before us in abundance,

Strike the doubting spirit dumb.

Tell us through thy wonder beauty,

Here, within the realm of time,

That to love like God’s our duty-

Heaven on Earth, may it be thine!
