Getting close to tigers Getting close to tigers On an extended Asian trip to visit friends in China and Thailand, Warren Grossman of Ventnor stopped at the Tiger Temple in Kanchanaburi, two hours west of Bangkok.  There he personally shared space with these majestic, although nocturnal, cats and felt good about it since part of the cost of admission is applied to preservation of this dwindling species.

Touring Spain and Portugal Touring Spain and Portugal While on a land tour to Spain and Portugal with Grand Circle Travel, Stan and Charlotte Friedman of Ventnor took a one day side trip to Tangiers, Morocco. They decided to take a picture with a four-month-old camel instead of taking a ride on the back of its mother. All were happier.

Hanging out in Orlando Hanging out in Orlando Pictured by the pool at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort are Nick Matthews (left) and Kyle Transue (right) of Egg Harbor Township. They brought The Current to Orlando, Florida during the Columbus Day holiday. Nick and Kyle spent their time at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure amusement parks. Highlights of the trip were the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.

Conquering the Color Run Conquering the Color Run Emily Keyser and Marie Sheeran from Team Simkin kickboxing of Simkin's Martials Arts in Galloway took The Current for a run at the 2014 Color Run at Atlantic City’s Bader Field. They supported the "Happiest 5K" kaleidoscope color run. In pouring rain Team Simkin's kickboxing still kicked it!

Viewing glaciers in Alaska Viewing glaciers in Alaska Karen and Howard Huston of Egg Harbor Township stop for a photo with The Current aboard their cruise to Alaska on board the Zuiderdam cruise ship. The background scenery is Glacier Bay National Park. The park rangers stated that they had not seen such great weather conditions for viewing the glaciers and mountains for a very long time. They were very lucky to be able to have that experience.

Doug and Rosemary Bonner spent a recent Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Ga. with former President Jimmy Carter and is wife Rosalynn. They invited the Bonners to come back to visit them again. A good time was had by all. The trip was organized due to the efforts of three women on the trip committee – Susan Herman, Donna Pendarvis (not in the photo) and Lorraine Alteiri (partially in the photo).  The picture with The Current was taken by MaryAnne Rifice.
