Business association plans Holiday Dinner

STRATHMERE – The Upper Township Business Association will hold a Holiday Dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12 at the Deauville Inn in Strathmere.

Tickets are $30 and include butlered hors d'oeuvres, a buffet and carving stations along with desserts, a chocolate fountain and fruit tower. There will be a DJ, dancing, a cash bar and a few other holiday surprises for guests.

Farmers Insurance opens in Marmora

MARMORA – Farmers Insurance held a grand opening for its new office in Marmora on Saturday, June 28.

There were face painters and hamburgers and hotdogs available. Raffles were held for a “beach day” and “movie night” basket and an iPad mini.

Owner Joseph Massaglia says when he opened his doors in 1988 most people didn’t know where Seaville was, let alone his new restaurant. Now, it is one of the most successful Italian restaurants in the area.

The business has locations in Pennsylvania and in Marmora.

MARMORA — Fast Track to Health, Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine, opened recently at 510 S. Shore Road, Suite B.
It is a wellness clinic offering private acupuncture, community acupuncture and functional medicine.

“Community acupuncture is done in a group setting and is very affordable,” reads a statement from the organization.

SEAVILLE – Advantage Rental and Sales in Seaville celebrated Ace Hardware Corporation’s recent recognition in the J.D. Power & Associates 2013 U.S. Home Improvement Retailer Store Satisfaction Study.

The Seaville store was chosen as the only store in New Jersey to mark the award. It is the seventh year in a row that Ace has received the award.
