Fall Fest scheduled for Oct. 26

PETERSBURG – Upper Township will hold its first Fall Fest from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26 at Amanda’s Field in Petersburg.

There will be live music and face painting, carnival games, a pumpkin patch and Halloween characters for kids. Pony rides and hay rides will also be available. The event is free. Vendors interested in participating can call 609-628-2011, ext. 200.

   

Free rabies clinic offered

SEAVILLE – A free rabies clinic will be offered from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Shore Veterinarian Animal Hospital, 73 Hope Corson Road in Seaville.

Trunk or Treat

The Upper Township Rescue Squad is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat event from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Amanda’s Field, 10 Sunset Drive in Petersburg. The rain date is Oct. 22. There will be a DJ, games, movie cars and a Best in Show award. Register vehicles at http://tinyurl.comUTRStrunkortreat14.

Ducks Unlimited fundraiser

Cape May County Ducks Unlimited will hold its annual Sportsman's Party at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Seaville Firehall on Route 50. Ducks Unlimited is the world's largest wetlands conservation organization. There will be a variety of food, including a pig roast. Raffles, auctions, and door prizes are planned. Tickets are $30 per person, $15 for those 16 and under.

Cyber-bullying presentation at Bishop McHugh

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – A presentation on the dangers of cyber-bullying, and how to protect your children online, will be the topic of a presentation by Det. Bryan Hamilton of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School. Hamilton also will cover “Sexting” and App Safety.
