GriefShare meets during holidays

GriefShare will hold a “Surviving the Holidays” meeting from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at Second Cape May Baptist Church, 600 Route 9 in Marmora. The meeting features practical suggestions and reassurance through video interviews with counselors, grief experts and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one's death. Topics to be discussed include why the holidays are tough, what to expect, how to manage relationships and holiday socials. High school scholarship dinner

The Ninth Annual Ocean City High School Scholarship Fundraising Dinner will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Ocean City High School cafeteria. The dinner will be a buffet featuring specialties prepared and served by chefs from many local restaurants. Dinner will be served promptly at 5:30 p.m. followed by door prizes. Dinner music will be performed by Tym Cox and the OCHS Jazz/Rock Ensemble students. Adult tickets are $25 and children’s tickets are $15. Tickets may be purchased in advance. Veterans Day service at Osprey Point

Veterans Day Osprey Point SEAVILLE – A Veterans Day Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Staff Sergeant William Godfrey Memorial Park on Route 9 in Seaville.

The service will be hosted by Osprey Point resident and former North Wildwood mayor Aldo Palombo. More than 50 veterans are residents of the Osprey Point Condominiums, an over-55 community.

Country and bluegrass gospel music
