Best of Life meeting
The Best of Life seniors group will meet at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 20 N. Shore Road in Marmora. There will be a covered dish luncheon and people are asked to bring a salad, casserole or dessert. The music program will be provided by John Mardirosian, who will sing your favorite songs, and Elsie Shearer will lead “Name That Tune” and other games for prizes. Best of Life is open to all senior members, friends and public in the community. Music Together free demonstration
Music Together of Upper Township will hold an Open House and free demonstration class at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14 at the Little Schoolhouse of Palermo. Business association plans Wine & Dine Mixer

MARMORA – The Upper Township Business Association is planning a Wine & Dine Mixer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19 at Foglio’s Flooring Center, 344 Route 9 in Marmora.

Several different types of wine will be selected by Boulevard Liquors to be paired with food from caterers at Upper Sandwiches. Business owners are welcome to attend.

Fundraiser dinner for Sea Isle City ambulance corps

SEA ISLE CITY – A fundraiser dinner for the Sea Isle City Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be held on Monday, Feb. 16 with seatings at 6 and 8 p.m. at La Fontana Coast Ristorante, 5000 Landis Avenue.

Country Shore Women’s Club presents basket bingo

TUCKAHOE - The Country Shore Women’s Club will host a Longaberger Basket Bingo Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Upper Township Community Center. All bingo proceeds will benefit local community service organizations.

Polar Bear run walk scheduled in Sea Isle City

SEA ISLE CITY – The public is invited to the Polar Bear 5K Run/1.5-Mile Fun Walk for Autism at noon, Sunday, Feb. 15, at JFK Boulevard and Promenade, Sea Isle City.

Proceeds from the event benefit Autism Speaks, special services schools, autism support groups, and families of special needs children.

Library programs for children

PETERSBURG – The Cape May County Library is hosting programs for children and their caregivers in January.

Children ages 3-5 are invited to attend Preschool Storytime. Each storytime will include stories, songs and rhymes, and craft activities that enforce children's basic concepts, language skills, listening ability, and social skills.

Sea Isle to host ‘A Night in Egypt’ and fireworks Dec. 31

SEA ISLE CITY- The Sea Isle City Municipal Alliance Committee will host the annual New Year’s Eve Celebration for children from 5:30-7:30 p.m. inside the City Hall/Public School Gymnasium, located at 4501 Park Road.

The evening’s theme “New Year’s Eve in Egypt” will be highlighted by a variety of decorations that will have guests feeling as though they are on the banks of the Nile River. The celebration will include a hot buffet dinner, dancing and other family entertainment.
