Memorial Day programs in Upper Township

UPPER TOWNSHIP – The residents of Osprey Point will hold their annual Memorial Day program at Staff Sergeant William Godfrey Memorial Park on Monday, May 28 at 9:30 a.m.

Resident Aldo Palombo will serve as host and Robert Morris will speak on his World War II Navy experience.

Phillies bus trips

Msgr. Zegers/Resurrection Council Knights of Columbus in Marmora want to “take you out to the ballgame.” Upcoming trips are May 18 when the Phillies host the Red Sox. Price is $60 and departure is 4:45 p.m. On Sunday, June 10, visit Camden Yards in Baltimore for the Phillies-Orioles game. Price is $75 and departure is 7 a.m. Game time is 1:35 p.m. There is free time at Inner Harbor. All departures are from the commuter lot off exit 25 in Marmora. Boy scout yard sale

Boy Scout Troop 95 will hold a multi-family yard sale on Saturday, May 19 at Jersey Devil Kayak, 123 Rt. 50 in Seaville (near the Custard Hut). Proceeds will help defray the cost of summer camp. Items include housewares, books, clothes, garage items, tools, video games, nick-nacks, dirtbike gear, bicycles, and many other things. For more information, go to www.Troop95BSA.com.

Sea Isle Garden Club flower sale

The Sea Isle Garden Club will hold its annual flower sale on Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sea Isle City Public School, Central Avenue and 46th Street.
