Fire arms ordinance should include bow and arrows

To the editor:

Any ordinance restricting the distance that a firearm can be fired from a residence should also include the shooting of bows and arrows.

I live on Evergreen Drive in Seaville and my neighbor, who says he is an expert archer and instructor, shoots his bow within 30 feet of my property. Several arrows have pierced through my vinyl fence and landed well into my property. Recently my grandchildren were playing in the yard while he was shooting.

My family has always been hunters and firearm owners, so I do not want a law banning target practice altogether, but there must be a safe distance required.
