MARMORA – Upper Township cub scouts were visited by Kevin Wilson of the Cape May County Zoo’s Reptile House during their most recent meeting. Wilson brought live animals like snakes, rabbits, a ferret, and a hedgehog, as well as some skulls, skins, and bones. He showed the cub scouts how they eat, and how to respect them in the wild.
"We live in their house,” said Wilson.
Boys from Kindergarten through fifth grade participate in Cub Scouts. Cub leader Amy Sera said the group has exciting plans this year, including a campout in October, a trip to a police station, and a visit to a water park.
Cub Scout welcomes any boy who is in Kindergarten through fifth grade. For more information, call 780-7501 or come to a meeting Wednesday night at the primary school.
