Firefighter welcomed home from Afghanistan

SEAVILLE – Emergency responders from Upper Township welcomed home one of their own from Afghanistan on Friday, Oct. 12.

Firefighters from the Seaville and Marmora fire companies along with the Upper Township Rescue Squad escorted Senior Airman Richard Bellwoar along the last few miles of his journey home to his awaiting family. Bellwoar is a member of the Seaville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company and has been stationed overseas for the past six months with the New Jersey Air National Guard.
While he was away, Bellwoar’s wife Sandi gave birth to their forth child, Jaxon.
