Newman, Breckley, Holmes win school board seats

UPPER TOWNSHIP - Voters here returned two incumbents to the Upper Township school board, and elected one new member Tuesday, according to unofficial results from the county clerk's office.

Incumbent Fran Newman was the high vote getter with 2,767 votes, or 24 percent. Incumbent Kim Breckley won 1,974 votes or 17 percent. Newcomer Bill Holmes, who ran with Newman and Breckley, received 1,970 votes or 17 percent.

Challenger Al Lihou received 1,649 or 14 percent; Lenny Martucci received 1,549 votes or 13.5 percent. Russ Morano received 1,522 votes or 13 percent.
