SEA ISLE CITY – As the flood waters receded after Hurricane Sandy, Sea Isle City realtor Jamie Sofroney knew how much help residents of Cape May and Atlantic counties were going to need.

"I saw the devastation here and up and down the coast and knew I had to do something," he said. "Immediately.”

Sofroney has spearheaded a golf and dinner fundraiser called “Pay it Forward” at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16 at the Wildwood Country Club. All of the funds raised will stay in Cape May and Atlantic counties, he said.

The golf tournament is a four-man scramble. The cost is $125 per person and includes golf, on-course beverages, dinner and open bar.

Tickets for the dinner are $50 per person and include dinner and open bar from 6 to 9 p.m.

Live music will be provided by “Cowabunga Chris” and North Jersey's Max McGuire. Sports memorabilia, event tickets and meet and greet are among the many items available for the silent and Chinese auction.
