SEA ISLE CITY – Because of extensive hurricane damage that was sustained to the Public Safety Building on JFK Boulevard, the Sea Isle City Police Department has moved operations into the Sea Isle City Public School building at 4501 Park Road.

The school has been empty since the spring of 2012 when Sea Isle’s remaining public school students were transferred to Ocean City. Police operations will continue inside the school until further notice.

The police department is utilizing the rear annex of the school facility, and is using the rear entrance on the 46th Street side of the building.

The Sea Isle City Police Department’s phone number remains the same. For all emergencies, call 911. For non-emergency calls, call 263-4311.

Within the next several weeks, all City Hall offices and the remaining public safety offices will also be relocated to the Sea Isle City Public School, according to officials. The Nov. 13 city council and planning board meetings will take place at the school.
