Residents of Osprey Point held a Veterans Day program Monday, Nov. 12 at Staff Sergeant William Godfrey Memorial Park.
Boy Scout Troop 55’s Color Guard presented the flag and their bugler played “Taps.” Members of Marmora VFW Post 8695 attended, as will the Tuckahoe American Legion Post 239 rifle squad led by Hermon Scheibein.
Navy veteran and Osprey Point resident, William Horton, addressed the gathering, followed by brief comments by VFW Commander Charles Addelizi and resident Anthony D’Alicandro.
More than 60 veterans of Osprey Point and visitors were acknowledged and entertained with patriotic songs.
