Cub Scouts pitch in after storm

STRATHMERE – Cub Scout Pack 55 organized a community cleanup on the beaches of Strathmere Saturday, Nov. 10.
Scouts Luke S., David W., Jack W., Jack W., Austin R., Aidan O., Paul T. Liam P., and scout siblings pitched in during the cleanup. They bagged trash and storm debris left on the beach after Hurricane Sandy, and found a lawn turtle belly up in the sand, which became the pack’s new mascot.
