MARMORA – The Upper Township Business Association held its first Upper Township Community Night Wednesday at the primary school.
More than 30 businesses set up tables in the primary school cafeteria, drawing a large crowd to the event. The night was organized by the local business association to let members of the community meet business owners and learn about the services they provide.
The Upper Township Business Association was founded in March, 2010. It now has 85 members, said board member Blanche Adams.
“We’re trying to promote the businesses that are right here in Upper Township,” she said.
Vice president Diana Motley said the association holds monthly meetings at member businesses, and also quarterly dinner meetings.
