Tuckahoe firefighters, Santa team up for a good cause

Members of the Tuckahoe Volunteer Fire Company held their regular breakfast this weekend, with a special guest from the North Pole – Santa Claus. The fire company thanked those who attended and wished them a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

TUCKAHOE – The Tuckahoe Volunteer Fire Company hosted 500 people at its December breakfast with Santa Claus.

Santa was at the firehouse for breakfast and photos this past weekend, and will return to Tuckahoe and its surrounding fire district at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 23. The fire company will escort Santa and his helpers throughout the Tuckahoe fire district.

Parents are asked to stand with their children on the curb starting at 4:30 p.m. as Santa makes his way through the streets. Santa and the firefighters will also be collecting canned goods for the Cape May County Food Bank.
