Jingle Run/Walk benefits PTA

MARMORA – The Upper Township Parent Teacher Association (PTA) held its first 5K Jingle Run/Walk and Family Fun Day on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Upper Township Primary School.

There were bounce houses set up for kids, as well as face painting, craft tables and a visit from Santa Claus. Mike Givens served as timer fro the 5K run and walk.

Members of the PTA and the local teachers’ union, Upper Township Education Association, volunteered to organize and run the event. Vendor tables were also on hand.

Dunkin Donuts donated donuts and munchkins as well as coffee and hot chocolate. Acme and Ralph’s Bagels also donated to the event.
