Local equestrians honored at convention

ATLANTIC CITY – Cape May County Equestrian of the Year Dara Baker of Rio Grande and Junior Equestrian of the Year Rebecca Thompson of Green Creek attended the New Jersey State Agricultural Convention Delegates’ Dinner on Feb. 6 in Atlantic City.

They participated in a long-standing tradition, the presentation of the agricultural youth leaders to the convention delegates. The dinner was highlighted by a visit by Gov. Chris Christie.
