Another snowstorm may be headed toward South Jersey this weekend, but not before a beautiful day forecast for Friday, Feb. 15.
The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies and a high of 51 before temperatures drop into the low 30s and rain changes over to snow.
A hazardous weather outlook has been posted for the area, calling for accumulating snowfall Friday evening into Saturday. A weather briefing issued at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 is calling for snowfall amounts between 1 and 4 inches.
If the storm intensifies faster and closer to the coast, higher snowfall amounts, in the 6 to 8-inch range, are possible.
At this time, tides will not be an issue with the event.
