Weather advisory for snow

A winter weather advisory for an inch or more of snow has been issued by the National Weather Service Mount Holly Prediction Center.

The advisory is for 3 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21 in South Jersey and Southern Delaware.

Snow will develop after midnight and continue through the Thursday morning rush hour, according to the National Weather Service. The snow will diminish or mix with rain toward the late morning.

The snow will create difficult driving conditions on untreated surfaces and overpasses.

Winds will be between 10-15 mph with gusts reaching 25 mph.
