When will the 70s return?

An onshore breeze will continue to keep the temperatures near the upper-50s for the rest of today, Monday, April 29 and most of tomorrow Tuesday, April 30. Look for a chance of rain to continue both days, according to the most recent forecast issued by the National Weather Service Mount Holly Forecast Center.

So when will the 70s return?

Thanks to a stalled high pressure system, the South Jersey area is heading into a prolonged period of sunny days. Residents living along the Jersey Shore may have to wait until next week before we see a return to summer-like temperatures. In the meantime, expect daily South Jersey high temperatures to remain in the low- to mid-60s for the balance of the work week. High temperatures could reach the mid- to upper-60s during the first weekend in May.
