Winter storm warning for parts of New Jersey for up to 6 inches of snow

The Winter Storm Warning is for all of South Jersey except Atlantic and Cape May counties.

Snow and sleet could throughout the afternoon and early evening hours until changing over to rain as temperatures rise overnight, the Weather Service said.

A winter weather advisory remains in effect for Atlantic and Cape May counties where 2-4 inches of snow could fall this afternoon and early evening, the National Weather Service said.
