A winter storm warning is in effect for Tuesday, Dec. 10 for western South Jersey and portions of eastern Pennsylvania along the I-95 corridor, the National Weather Service Mount Holly Forecast Center said.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for the rest of New Jersey and the remainder of eastern Pennsylvania, the Weather Service said.

South Jersey winter weather advisory

The winter weather advisory lasts from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 across much of South Jersey, the National Weather Service said. About 2-4 inches of snow will fall during the day, affecting both the morning and evening commutes. Slippery conditions could persist for the next few days because afternoon high temperatures will not climb much past the freezing mark.

I-95 corridor Winter Storm Warning

A winter storm warning has been issued for western portions of New Jersey and eastern portions of Pennsylvania from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10. Icy conditions along with 3-5 inches of new snow will affect the area during the day. Overnight slippery conditions are likely to occur.
