Saturday snow: tricky forecast

A tricky and multi-faceted storm system will reach the area Saturday morning, the National Weather Service Mount Holly Forecast Center said. Early precipitation could fall as snow before a changeover to all rain later in the day. A period of sleet or freezing rain is also possible during the tranistion period.

Depending on where everything develops, South Jersey could end up on the better end of the storm and receive the least amount of snow. However, areas to the north and west could get significant amounts of snow for the third time in less than 10 days, the Weather Service said.
