HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Atlantic City Electric is closely monitoring a weather forecast that calls for a wintry mix – ice, rain and snow – that could impact South Jersey through the rest of the week. Atlantic City Electric will schedule and adjust its workforce with the timing of the weather and any resulting customer outages, according to a release issued at 3:19 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3.

Company workers will address outages around the clock. However, customers need to be prepared for the possibility of power outages.

Additionally, Atlantic City Electric is in contact with local emergency management officials to monitor changing conditions.

Customers should report outages at 800-833-7476. Customers should remain away from downed wires. Outages may be reported at www.atlanticityelectric.com or through a mobile app at: www.atlanticcityelectric.com/mobileapp.

The National Weather Service Mount Holly Forecast Center predictes a snow-to-ice-to-rain event beginning late Tuesday, Feb. 4. A pair of coastal storms could impact the area with rain and or a little snow over the wekeend as well.
