The South Jersey sky will be generally clear today; Saturday, April 26 after yesterday’s storm delivered about a half-inch of rain and drenched a minor forest fire that had burned last evening near Atsion in Burlington County.

Last night’s rain delivered about between .35 of an inch of moisture in Atlantic City to a half-inch of rain in Millville, according to the National Weather Service. Wildwood, ironically, measured less than a tenth of an inch of precipitation. Here is today's South Jersey weather outlook:

After morning clouds dissipate, mostly sunny conditions will return through late afternoon today, according to the NationalWeatherServiceMountHollyForecastCenter.

Then a second cold front comes through South Jersey later today. There is a 30 percent chance of rain through the early evening hours and about a 40 percent chance through midnight. Less than a quarter-inch of rain is expected.

A sunny sky should return on Sunday with highs near 64 degrees and a chilly north wind of 13-15 mph.
