 According to information posted on the Atlantic City Electric website, there were 64 outages reported with 8,900 customers without electrical power at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13.

The greatest concentration of outages was in Burlington County where 4,500 Atlantic City Electric customers were without power as of 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12.

More outages seemed possible as the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for a storm that could produce heavy rain and 60-mph winds. The warning was set to expire at midnight, but could be extended if conditions get worse.
