 Soggy conditions, but clearing across South Jersey

Heavy, heavy rains delivered between 5-8 inches of rain across many portions of South Jersey on Tuesday, Aug. 12. However, most of the rain fell after the 12th annual Atlantic City Airshow practice flights began and before today’s action is about to begin. The rains leave behind isolated flooding in low-lying areas and in areas of poor drainage.

South Jersey 8 a.m. conditions and airshow forecast

As of 8 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13, the temperature was 71 degrees along the Atlantic City beaches where the 12th annual Atlantic City Airshow is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.

Expect clouds to clear during the day, moving from the southwest to the northeast. Sunshine will increase during the afternoon hours.

Temperatures will warm into the lower-80s by the time the 12th annual Atlantic City Airshow begins.

No rain is forecast for the rest of the day in South Jersey.
