Hard choices in real estate

To the editor:

Sometimes we must listen to our kids.  They think it is a no brainer - unload our New Jersey Diamond Beach townhouse and keep our Naples, Fla. condo.  The days of dual ownership are gone.  Economics is about choices, and these shaky times force us to choose one or the other.  In other words, where will God's Waiting Room be?

A neighborhood can include buildings, sidewalks, traffic and streets. A neighborhood may have businesses, or playgrounds, manicured lawns or vacant lots, chain link fences or white picket ones.

On behalf of the organizing committee and staff, I would like to thank the many generous merchants in the Wildwoods and Washington Street Mall in Cape May for their very generous donations to the Notre Dame de la Mer Health Fair on Nov. 19. Their support helped make our Fair another success which we hope to continue in the coming years.

Answers demanded in pet’s death

To the editor:

Law enforcement in West Wildwood shot a puppy who broke free of her leash during a walk, and later dug up her body after burial in the family's yard. They said they needed to test for rabies, even though the owner had medical records documenting that her pet had been vaccinated.

WCHS Dean: we’re going strong

To the editor:

Two years ago this month the Diocese of Camden announced that Wildwood Catholic was to be closed. Thanks to the efforts of many alumni, families, local businesses and friends, the school was able to remain open. I am here today to let you know that WCHS is alive and well. Enrollment for next school year is expected to increase significantly.

Once the voters cast their ballot, their belief appears to be that their civic responsibility is complete. What is difficult to understand is that we all complain about the incompetence in government.
