Bike paths good for everybody

To the editor,
It was great to read about the bike path projects. I am especially pleased to hear that there is talk about connecting the North Wildwood path to the Wildwood Crest bike path via an asphalt path on the beach.
Students weigh in on what make school special

To the editor:
I’m a journalism teacher for seventh and eighth grade students at Wildwood Middle School. Recently in class, we wrote short essays about what makes Wildwood Middle School special, and wanted to share our finished product. We think we have a very special school, and want others in the local community to realize this as well. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed writing them.

Diversity key to school’s appeal
To the editor:
There are lots of things that make Wildwood Middle School so special, but the main reason is the diversity of students. There are many kids from all different places, like Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Mexico, and much more. In this school, you can learn so much from each other because so many students come from different cultures. You can be yourself without anyone judging you. It doesn’t matters how you look or dress, what matters is how you are on the inside. Wildwood Middle School accepts you just the way you are.

To the editor:
I was at The Bayview in Wildwood Crest for my Friday night cherrystone clams on the half-shell and I looked up and saw my mom's picture on the wall (she is the one with the megaphone who was a Wildwood Beach Club lifeguard, Dorothy Hunt).

Commentary > Be careful on beach fee vote

The people of Wildwood should take a closer look and do more research on the issue of beach tag fees before they go to the polls on the subject in March. It is not as simple an issue as voting “yes” or ‘no”. There are questions that have not been answered yet and they deserve an answer before such a big issue is decided.
OPRA requests create transparency, not turmoil

The city has an obligation to make all information public. The information is either there or its not. Put the information out and let the public decide if it’s wrong or right.
