Poverty only a problem if seasonal workers stay put

To the editor:
Wildwood was founded as a resort by the sea. It offered many things to the tourists and workers from the early 1900s to present day. It also was a known fact that when September arrived, seasonal workers no longer had jobs and had to follow the food chain. Thanks for support of military kids

To the editor:
Thanks to the generous people and vacationers to Cape May County, local military children whose parents serve at the U.S. Coast Guard Station Cape May and the 253rd Army National Guard Cape May Court House will be receiving donated school supplies collected from our local “Dollar Tree” stores in North Cape May and Rio Grande.
Rio Grande store manager Dan, and Cape May Court House store manage Traci spearheaded their respective stores efforts with the help of their cheerful checkout staff.
Gratitude for kindness to late father

To the Editor,
My father, Ellwood Ott, better known as Woody, passed away on July 16 after a brief stay in a nursing home. Before his passing you may have noticed him walking around the streets of North Wildwood. It was the one thing he still enjoyed at the ripe old age of 86: Walking. He would be wearing his favorite blue jacket with his World War II veteran’s hat that he proudly wore.
Keep RVs off the beach

To the editor:
Pease stop using dollars as the first priority for the band-aid reason to have the RVs turn the beach and boardwalk into a trailer campground.
What do the officials in Wildwood Crest say and feel about this RV Plan? Cresse Avenue is Wildwood on one side of the road and the Crest is on the southwest side. Do we get a say?
Parking issues are part of miscommunication

To the editor:
I am writing to comment on the article you wrote about the "Skate rink eyed as downtown project.” It discusses the parking situation the night of the Kenny Chesney concert. My family owns a parking lot on Maple Avenue.
