Heroin charges in Wildwood

WILDWOOD -- Two people face charges after a police raid netted 79 bags of heroin on East Lincoln Avenue Dec. 27, according to Wildwood police and county officials.
According to the county prosecutor’s office, the county SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Each Lincoln Avenue, allegedly turning up the heroin, drug paraphernalia and cash.
Arrested were Brittany Demott, 21, of Wildwood, and Heriberto Aletriz-Soto, also of Wildwood, both charged with possession of heroin and possession with the intent to distribute. They were each sent to county jail with bail set at $35,000 cash.
They are accused of third degree crimes, which according to county prosecutor Robert Taylor could mean three to five years in prison if convicted.
