WILDWOOD—Frank Vogel, head coach for the Indiana Pacers, plans to speak to Wildwood students Tuesday.

Vogel was a Wildwood High School grad himself in 1991. He’ll address both middle school and high school students 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10. He grew up in Wildwood Crest, and became head coach for the Pacers in the midst of the 2010-2011 season.

In an interview in 2012, Vogel told the Leader’s sports editor, Brian Cuniff, that he’ll always call the Wildwoods home.

“It’s special and it means a lot to me,” he said. “I will always be a South Jersey boy and a Wildwood boy.”
