Wildwood man arrested after drawing gun at Ship N’ Shore

WILDWOOD—Police announced they have arrested a Wildwood man who allegedly pointed a gun at a fellow bar patron during a heated argument at the Ship N’ Shore Tuesday. 

Jose Ramos, 28, was arrested after police responded to the West Montgemery Avenue bar to investigate a disturbance involving individuals armed with a handgun, police said.

Ramos was located in the 4400 block of Park Boulevard and identified by witnesses at the scene. Police said that Ramos pointed a revolver style handgun at a fellow patron during a heated verbal argument.

Ramos was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in the fourth-degree, unlawful possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the second-degree and certain persons not to possess weapons, a fourth-degree crime.

Bail was set at $130,000 full cash and Ramos was sent to Cape May County jail when he was unable to post it.
